I was hoping to get four 100 foot lengths from this “400 feet†package of rope. It was 20 feet short ie 380 actual feet of rope. Seems like good rope and the price was right (I lost about $2 on the missing 20 feet), but it’s still annoying.I’d return it, but I cut the rope as I measured it into 100 foot lengths.That’s life in the fast lane I guess.Update: less than a week after buying, the rope snapped while crabbing. Terrible product. Very disappointing.

The rope seems to be a quality build rope, but I bought two 400’ ropes and one of the 400’ only had 378’. When you buy 400’ I want 400’. When you are cutting 4 pieces at 100’ you want four 100’. Not 3 at 100’ and one at 78’.

My intention was to save a few $$$ by using a slightly thinner line on my crab pots. However, while It's a great product, it is too thin to grip in my pot puller. I have gone to the 5/16" line and have excellent results.

Great rope for my shrimp pots! Easy to coil and has very low stretch.
