This fixes the stock brake pedal height problem of the newer touring HD's. Anyone complaining it did not fix the odd reach angle, I'm guessing got the shorty bracket (that goes on the Ultra's with the lower fairings). That pedal is much shorter than the one for non-lower fairing bikes.Once installed, the pedal is FAR easier to get your foot over. It moves it ahead of the floorboard so you get more foot space to move around while riding. It does change the pedal angle, so the pedal pressure changes. Yes... you'll perceive you have to push harder on the pedal to do the same braking... it's all got to do with the angle, it's down now instead of forward. I can not say enough good things about this pedal. I'm 6'5" with a 38" inseam. The stock brake pedal position was wearing. It made me almost regret getting rid of my old bike with different controls. This fixed EVERYTHING I was annoyed about with my foot controls. Now to the "ease of install" portion. It is not. The instructions leave out a few key steps. I watched some youtube videos of the install prior to getting my delivered so I had a bit of heads up. The stock instructions leave out removing the highway bar mounts to allow more room for twisting the brake pedal into place. The cotter pin is a PITA to get to and remove (if you have big hands like me). You have to remove the brake side floor board, loosen the front floorboard mount, disconnect the master brake cylinder from its engine mount, remove the highway bars, then you can (sort of) get to the brake lever mounts to remove the factory bracket and reinstall the new bracket. It is not a 10 minute job. It's a lot of parts for a short pay off.But boy oh boy, is that pay off worth every minute of wrenching, every part you have to remove and reinstall. Every factory set bolt you need to break free and then retorque. 100% worth the 30-40 minutes it'll take to swap out.I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I'm very satisfied with the new flatter brake pedal position. Everything Harley *SHOULD* have done from the factory. Sad I had to spend money and time to get it how it should have been to start with, but such is life. 100% recommend if you are taller and having issues with getting your foot to punishing stock pedal position.

If you have switched to a bagger and the brake feels so uncomfortable in the upright position, this is a game changer. It flattens out the pedal and puts it slightly forward. Best modification I have made. Seriously you will thank yourself everyday for getting this and installing it. It is also an easy install 1 hour max, watch some videos as they help with some of the small things to know before you begin.

I was quoted higher prices from local shops for this exact brand and part number. This is a great deal for anyone looking to extend their leg room.

Fit and finish are OEM quality. Excellent directions. What I have come to expect from kuryakan

Looks like a stock part, just so much better! The positioning is lower and extended so I no longer have to lift my entire leg to get it on the brake pedal. Stopping is so much smoother and safer. The instructions don’t say to remove the inside O ring, but you’ll need to during instal. I also needed to remove my heat shield on my RGSI would absolutely recommend this as a great mod to consider

Installed without moving the engine guard on my 2019 RGS with Vance and Hines Power Duals. I believe the floor board cut outs in the V&H's covers allowed for the extra room needed to slip on. Greased the brass fitting as well as the shaft but still had to tap on with rubber mallet. Everything I seen online had me thinking I would need to move the engine guard to get the room needed. Much better room on the floor boards now with the brake forward and down. The item itself doesn't hold up well to shipping. The first arm I received was loose in its box and appeared to have been used with chips in the powder coat. Replacement arm was also loose in box, the twist ties break through the cardboard in shipping but had no chips.

This is the 2nd bike I’ve put this on. The pedal is moved forward and lower. It opens up the entire footboard and makes a much more comfortable angle to use the rear brake. Install is easy enough just take your time and watch the install video. Definitely recommend using this to keep from putting your foot under the pedal like on my Harley.

Photo 1 and 2 show the difference between stock pedal and then the extended pedal. Third photo shows that you will need to remove the two bottom crash bar bolts and loosen the top one to rotate it forward so the extended pedal can slide on the the shaft. Fourth photo shows the entire floorboard is now usable.

Great addition, for braking good foot position. I’m 5’8” and have a low profile seat and it works great for me and even better for taller riders. First pic stock, second pic Kuryakyn extended, 3rd too stock bottom Kuryakyn.
