This is one of the few things that should be changed immediately after buying a stock Harley Davidson touring bike. If you're looking to save money this is a pretty decent replacement. The heim bearings are a bit big , but far better than the pressed in ball joints of the OEM linkage. This product comes with no directions. Yet it's very simple to install, a few YouTube videos will work to get your installation perfect. The lock down nuts are also a bit oversized. They should be made of stainless steel. When setting the two ends, use blue lock-tite on the threads. Set the new linkage to the exact same length as the OEM. Line up the holes and set your linkage bolts to that length. Then just bolt it on as the old one came off. Again using Lock-tite (blue) on all new hardware. The front bolt ( nearest the the front shift arm) has to be inserted so the head of the bolt is at the rear of the linkage Heim bearing. There's a nicely powder coated acorn nut of sorts to go on the end. Torque all to spec, I believe they're 24 to 26 inch pounds. Check your manual for that prior to torqueing. It's been a few weeks and the linkage is still holding tightly. No issues with shifting, or finding neutral.ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CONNECTIONS! at least once a month. Go ahead and check all Allen nuts, bolts, etc... tighten down as needed. Always use Lock-Tite on all your bolts. This product was installed on a 2015 Road Glide ST. It took less than 15 minutes from removing stock linkage to installing this one.Far better than getting stuck in the middle of nowhere after the stock OEM linkage decides to "Part ways" with your bike.R&D for this company should consider making the locking nuts a bit smaller in OA diameter.Other than that it's a pretty good deal!
