I’m using this to shape oak & cedar into benches, tables, chairs and bowls along with the more aggressive shaping Kutzall discs and sanding discs. Also a chainsaw but that’s not really relevant here, is it? Nah.The good: This baby removes wood! Even hard wood like dried cedar it just chews right in and speed out a spray of dust that smells awesome but gets everywhere. I’ve seen no wear or broken teeth after a full day of nearly continuous use, but it’s sufficiently fine that you can’t really see individual teeth anyway. I would say this is equivalent to a 60 grit sanding disc but lasts a very long time.The bad: None really. You do need to be alert to what you’re doing - it will eat wood FAST, and when the disc is spinning it really puts torque on the angle grinder. Use both handles and hold firmly.Definitely recommend if you’re doing more than a small project. For the cost you can buy about 30 sanding discs, though, so if you don’t anticipate using that many over time then reconsider...it isn’t cheap.

I bought this to use for horse hoof trimming of hard, desert-dry hooves. It works so much much better than the grit disks I had been using and this disk should last a long time, I hope. It looks like very high quality and has a good amount of weight to it, which adds to the weight of the grinder, but makes up for it how quickly and accurately it removes horn. I will never have to use a rasp again... The horses like it too, much more comfortable for them than using hand tools.

This Disc really removes the wood. It fit snug on my angle grinder and was very easy to handle although I would recommend wearing gloves as it could easily tear into your skin if you were to accidently hit your hand. I used it to sculpt some cedar and it worked great in carving down the wood to the shape I wanted. They make a flat type disc and a domed disc. Make sure you are buying the right one. I bought the flat disc but wish now I had purchased the domed one as it would have allowed me to get a more rounded edge. I will probably buy a second one as it is a great tool to really remove wood in a hurry. If you are carving wood or creating bowls this tool is fantastic. Nice carving tool to add to your collection.

Il tuo settore di riferimento è il carving? Scolpisce lastre di legno o fai sculture? Allora la serjserie dischi non puoi non averla. Costano davvero tanto, ma non esiste un prodotto di concorrenza che possa essere paragonato. Sicurezza? È il primo parametro che devi tenere a mente. Lascia perdere dischi con lame, denti o altre oscenità . In caso di rimbalzo perderesti minimo le dita.Se fai carving e sculture di vario tipo, questi disco ha un rimbalzo praticamente assente (a patto di essere usato i modo corretto) e mangia davvero tanto tanto materiale rimanendo sempre scarico e pulito. Ho provato anche prodotti con occhi a mandorla fatti copiando questo sistema, niente non possono essere paragonabili, perchè quando sono nuovi mangiano i primi giorni, poi si impastano e non tolgono nulla. Dovrai pulirli con diluente per resina e tanta pazienza e si impasteranno di nuovo... questi li uso da tempo e sono sempre puliti dopo l'uso perchè I denti sono stampati i modo conico e non sono semplici riccioli sollevati come una raspa.68euro per 1 disco sono tanti? Si certo. Ma non tornerei indietro.

Excellent piece of kit. Used immediately to shape soft wood with perfect results. No idea yet of its longevity but so far very impressed. I bought the medium disc which it really fast at removing wood, the skill is getting used to using it as it’s easy to remove to much

It said the blade was very coarse , but i found it if used light touches it give a fine finish.
