This item holds my keyboard perfectly. I was initially concerned that it was so lightweight but not an issue. Very easy to assemble- I didn’t even read the directions!

I bought this to replace my standard X shaped keyboard stand. People complained that it is wobbly. I did not find it to be so. It is light but stable I am slowly replacing my current stands with these stands. They are fine for the price. I teach weekly classes so these stands get plenty of use. The only thing I WILL say is make sure that the screws that adjust the height on the legs are screwed tightly so the legs don't shorten under the weight. I also like that this stand screws to the keyboard. I use Yamahas so I don't know how the screws work with other keyboards. If they don't fit I think you could always use velcro to adhere the keyboard to the base. (I did that with the X stands.)

Full disclosure: We had to return the stand. But, we did have a chance to use it for a few days before we did.1. My 12 yo daughter put it together. (she let me help a little--"here Dad, hold this steady")2. Even though it was not made for the 81 key piano. it was very sturdy and stable.3. So it should be more than sturdy enough for a 60-70 key digital piano (or like weight)4. I personally liked the graduated legs, they made it very easy to adjust the height equally.5. Also liked the Z design for knees (personal preference)Overall a really good design and construction.

Go this for an old cheapo Casio keyboard for my girls to play on until we decide on whether to get a real piano. It arrived in a box that had completely fallen apart and it was a wonder the bag of screws didn't get lost. As expected, the parts were flimsy, but when put together, the stand was actually pretty sturdy and easy to adjust. I wouldn't trust it for a high end instrument, but it's definitely worth the price I paid for it.

One of the extensions was welded on to the legs wrong so that the holes were top and bottom instead of the sides. Rather than hassle with returns I just drilled my own holes. Amazon need to pull this vendor and find one that has better quality control. Also, there's no number to call for a replacement part. The instructions came on a sheet of paper about the size of a business card -- I had to put it on my scanner and blow it up to read it, then look at the product photos here on Amazon to figure out what was wrong with it.

OMG - it's perfect! This is probably the exact same keyboard stand that other distributors are selling for twice the price and more, but this one comes unassembled. It takes at most 5 minutes to put together if you've ever seen one of these stands before.(For those who haven't seen a keyboard stand: Interior legs connect to the crossbars whose holes are drilled narrower --versus-- Exterior legs connect to the crossbars whose holes are drilled wider apart.Easy peasy. It won't go together any other way.)Once assembled, this thing is rock solid. I set a 25 lb. keyboard on this, and it doesn't even wince. And it's easily adjustable in height. At this price, it's perfect.

I think the stand is okay- just doesn’t fit my smaller keyboard. When I make the stand smaller it raises it up to a level that isn’t as comfortable to play. Lowering the keyboard makes the supports for the keyboard too large to use the locking straps.

Took a little while to figure out the assembly, but once up it is very sturdy. Especially liked the fact that the two screws designed to attach the keyboard to the stand matched with my keyboard!
