This is my second one. I bought the first one a year ago, and this one is the same great quality. It provides a nice big surface; it's easy to sweep, vacuum, and wipe clean; and it always looks nice. As for reviewer comments about whether it lays flat - I just followed the instruction and found It lays nicely on both flooring and carpet. Of course having a heavy litter box on top is helpful. In using this as a litter mat, I want to clarify that it does not catch litter. It's a smooth surface. So if your cat is a digger, like mine, then I recommend placing this mat on top of carpet or having it on or adjacent to an area rug. Either way, that will effectively reduce tracking.

This clear chair mat is a game-changer for my hardwood floors! It's virtually invisible, so it doesn't ruin the look of my room, and it glides smoothly under my office chair. This is a clear floor mat that nearly disappears from view on my vinyl laminate floor. You can hardly tell it's there. As others have stated, it comes tightly rolled which makes it a bit difficult to lay flat first thing out of the box. Here are a couple hints: The smooth side goes down, opposite of the way you would think to unroll it, and this one is made for hard floors so don't try to use it on carpet of any kind. You won't be happy. If you find this doesn't flatten out completely, try taking a hair dryer to it. And set something heavy on the curl. I like this mat. My chair glides easily over it and the curl, limited to the last three inches, is almost completely gone.

Amazing quality, love that it doesn't have the spikes under it! You do have to lay it out and let it flatten a bit after getting it, but only takes like maybe half an hour to fully flatten

Works as intended and the product itself isn't bad. I'm just stupid and bought this to go over carpet flooring rather than hard flooring and its WAY too thin for that. My car was already hard to move and this made it worse 😂😂Again this would work just fine on hard flooring but for carpet I would stay away.

I bought the 4.5’ x 7’ mat when I moved to a new therapy office that had carpet tile. I needed something to catch the sand and paint from the kid’s therapeutic work without a lot of expense or looking conspicuous.This does the trick perfectly. It’s attractive, comfortable for little sock feet, easy to clean up, and hardly visible.Highly recommend.

I have purchased 3 plastic floor mats previous to this one and a tempered glass one as well. This is by far the best of all!!!! All previous plastic ones moved around and "scrunched up" when my chair moved on it. The glass tempered mat was really nice but really expensive and could not be put underneath or near any table legs for fear of breaking. It also kept cracking when I stepped on it. For over $200 bucks I thought the glass might be the way to go but it was NOT so I therefore returned. Make sure to keep your packaging if you buy one of those...they will require it be returned. Then I was lucky enough to find this one. This barely moves at all. I do not have to adjust it on an hourly basis like all of the other ones I have purchased. It is simply THICKER than other brands so while you do have to unroll it, put some weights on it to let it warm up is simply amazing. FINALLY I HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT FLOOR MAT for my office! Of note..this is being used on a level surface LVT flooring. I, much like you, probably don't know what to buy on Amazon as you never know what you will get. I highly recommend this one.

I'm two months in to trying to make this a usable product. Two problems. One, it's thin. Now I don't have this on hardwood, it's on a very thin run and is meant to try to protect the rug from the wheels on my chair, but the plastic is very thin and I am not holding out much hope for the long term. I didn't take any stars off for that since it's not made for rugs, it's made for hardwood, so OK I get it. The second problem, and this is where it fails for its intended purpose and gets the least number of stars I can give it, is that the edges curl up. For the past two months I've put various heavy books and flat weight on the corners and edges to get them to stay down, but within hours of taking the weight off the edges are curling up again. Whenever I walk past the mat edges my feet or chair wheels always get stuck and it's super annoying. I'm past the return period otherwise I would send it back. That's my fault I guess since I keep hoping that eventually the edges will lie flat. I had a very similar mat made by Amazon Basics that unfortunately is discontinued but that was awesome and worked great out of the box. Not so much this one.

Ce tapis est top. Après six mois d'utilisation, il n'a pas bougé. Sa texture permet facilement le glissement facile d'une chaise à roulettes. Il protège bien le sol, son aspect transparent permet de garder l'uniformité de la couleur du sol.

I am the buyer for the household and was asked to look into a protective mat for a chair at a table - just your average kitchen chair. Works perfectly. If you follow the instructions about letting it sit for a day with weights and there's no trouble at all. Works very well on laminate and hardwood, the edges don't get caught on anything or curl up.Another person in my house liked it so much that they wanted one too. They have it for their rolling office chair, and the chair doesn't get stuck rolling on and off of it. This is probably the best version of this product I've seen, and the price is worth it.
