These little combs work great to check to see if your cats have fleas. Catches the flea and then you have to submerge them quickly under water to dispose of them effectively. Good to have if you suspect your cat may have fleas.

My mother-in-law got this flea comb from a vet. She said it was the only kind that worked for her cat so I ordered one for my two kittens that had fleas when we adopted them. Works great!

i didn't read the details- so that was my faultVERY short metal teeth- maybe good for tiny kittens- but not for older kittens or adult cats

This flea comb is the best one out there. It has much finer teeth and can grab the thinnest fleas. I lost my old one and was so glad when Amazon finally started carrying these.

A sturdy flea comb that works well to remove hair from my short hair kitties. They love it, even though they don't have fleas. I notice this is the same kind my vet uses.

I brought a couple of these Combs several months ago. I use them twice a day on each of my cats. The size fits nicely in my hand for combing. The comb part could be a little longer. I like to gasp the hair and fleas in my fingers and place it in a glass soapy water. The fleas can get caught between the wire combs and have to be wiggled out. They have not bent or broke.

I bought this comb for my rabbit - she had so many fleas on her! Some Advice; Put a hot water cup/bowl filled with soap, beside you when you use this comb. I say this because when you catch flies while combing your pets fur, you'll need to put those fleas obviously somewhere. In this case... by dipping the comb with fleas on it in soapy water, they'll die quickly -- especially, if the soap is dish soap! :)

My wonderful vet recommended this for combing my cat, who had hated every other brush/comb we'd tried. But this one she would put up with as long as I used it frequently enough. I'd give that use between a 4 and a 5.Now I'm wearing braces on my hands because of the severity of my arthritis. The occupational therapist who made the braces suggested using the same cat comb to clean out fuzz and hair on the velcro fasteners. In my opinion, that doesn't work at all. I'd rate that use a 1.
