The first one I was sent did not have the magnet in the bag. They replaced it and all is well. My steps are working again.

Magnetic switch worked fine. (Normally open)Missing parts. The item was described as magnetic switch plus toggle switch and cover plate. This was and still is also as it shows in the picture. Toggle switch and cover plate was not included in the shipment.

From trial and error this information will help you. There are two types of switches. "Normally Open" or "Normally Closed".Depending on what steps you got determines what switch you will need.If you need normally closed then you will need to purchase the White Kwikee #374198.If you're not sure I recommend getting both this one and the white one.

It is only the magnetic switch, the on/off switch and switch plate are not included, the image is misleading.
