I was surprised by this lock set by how sturdy it is. I have lower end Kwikset locks elsewhere in my house but liked the design of this one for an exterior door in my kitchen. The instructions would be easy to follow for someone that needs them, and it’s important to note that the deadbolt plate had to be chiseled out a little more on my door frame as it’s a larger plate than most doors use. Once installed it looks great and works great, very minimal wobble and the lock mechanisms are smooth.I also rekeyed my other locks using the rekey feature and it was simple and easy to do. (My other locks are also kwikset with the rekey feature)

so far i’ve ordered two of these and will be getting more as i work my way through our remodel! they’re fantastic. we have all kwikset door handles because they all have the smart key capability, which means you can rekey the locks to be on the same key!!! throughout your entire house! we have 4 doors that lead to outside so it’s my favorite part. they are sleek and very, VERY sturdy. they have transformed the way our doors shut. obviously installing a new door set takes time and patience, you might have to chisel out some of your doorway etc if you have an older home like me, to make it work but once you get it all dialed in, you’ll be happy!

Solid deadbolt and doorknob. Problem is we got a returned item. The box had writing all over it and everything had been opened. We had to change the deadbolt in our back door so we trusted everything was put back but it wasn’t 🥲 I would’ve returned it but our back door was not locking. We had to use the screws from closet doorknob. It’s a different color 😢 so now I’m needing to run and get the right size screws for the kwik set and put my closet doorknob back on.Amazon you need better quality control. It’s not the first time I get a returned used product.

I got this door handle set for my daughter/ husband. It's great. Looks really expensive. Works great. Baby girl is too small to turn the knob which is what we wanted. It's exactly as described and looks great on the door. Thank you. Karen
