This door handle/lock kit is great, very well-made, easy to install, and easy to rekey to your current key. I have purchased two at this point to replace aged door handle/lock kits at our home, and I am more than satisfied with their quality. Review of Kwikset 94002-852 Tylo Keyed Entry Knob with Smartkey Security In Satin Nickel @ $20.31.I decided to replace all of my entry locks so that I could use 1 key to get into all of them. This included my garage. Rather than pay a locksmith to rekey everything, I opted to try the Smartkey system of locks. I'm glad I did. Rekeying the locks was a breeze. I am not considered a handyman by any means, but I have replaced doorknobs and deadbolts before. There's no installation instructions that come with the doorknobs. Every set I bought came with Smartkey instructions. I had not seen these types of doorknobs before, meaning in order to install them, the screws/bolts remain in one half of the knob (entry part) and you must feed it through the hole in the door. Then, the inside half gets line up, pushed on, and then twisted/turned slightly to catch the screw/bolt heads, and then they are tightened down. I found it slightly difficult to get them aligned just right and then turned to lock them into place. Fortunately for me, all of my old hardware was basically the same size as the new and all of the screw holes for faceplates, etc., lined up fine. The new striker plates also fit nicely into the old spaces. These seem to be sturdy, and the lock knobs worked smoothly. 4 stars.I did not like that there were no installation instructions. I also did not like that the mechanisms (bolt that secures the door and the knobs to a degree) seemed to be sticky. Maybe they will loosen after usage, but I've not seen this in others I have installed.I hope this helps someone to decide whether or not to try this product.

My original door knobs were starting to fail and trapped people inside the door, so I looked for replacements for the worn out knobs. These fit perfectly and were quick to install. They appear to be a contractor grade and do not include mounting instructions, which I didn't need anyway, but if you are unsure how to mount them you may want to get one from a local hardware stare that includes instructions.

Arrived on time, everything was included in the box. Installation was straightforward just make sure to adjust the striker plate up or down accordingly by lightly tapping on it or door may not latch. Smart key feature is awesome and it does work as advertised.The knobs and hardware feel quality made, look very good. I highly recommend this product.

Necesitaba reemplazar una perilla sin llave que destrozo una pitbull y la verdad es que esta bastante completa, incluso no tuve que rehacer orificios ni nada, el tamaño es universal y funciona a la perfección, solo el pequeño clip o como se le pueda llamar que tiene para abrirla si se cierra accidentalmente con el seguro, es medio difÃcil de manejar pero fuera de eso la volverÃa a comprar sin dudarlo!
