IT WAS STRAIGHT FORWARD STRUT SUSPENSION CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT TIME. 267,485 MILES ON ORIGINAL, SO IT WAS OVER DUE. TASK NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART, BUT ONCE SPRING IS REMOVED & OLD CARTRIDGE DISCARDED & OIL CLEANED UP.... THIS ITEM FITS PERFECT AS SHOULD. AFTER DRIVING CAR, I WAS HAPPY WITH THE IMPROVED RIDE.FYI: WILL PURCHASE AGAIN IN ANOTHER 200,000 MILES!!! HAPPY MOTORING.

made a huge difference on my suspension, car no longer springs on bumps, instead they roll over them. handling is amazingly great and responsive on tight corners too with no body movement. 5 stars

I had to replace strut cartridges on my car. These KYB units advertised like new performance and that claim was accurate.

Great quality, Made in Japan. Really helped to restore the quality of the ride in the front. Requires the special W-Body strut tool. If you have spring seats that are powder coated on those cars, be warned that the spring seat probably is in need of replacement as well at this point. Later W-body cars have painted, not powder coated spring seats. but pre-1994 cars I believe had powder coat which is bad.
