La Bella Has Over 400 Years of String Making Experience

The tradition of string making dates back to the 1640s in Salle, Italy, where the Mari family supplied gut strings to the famous violin builders of Cremona. In 1913, brothers Olinto & Emilio Mari arrived in New York bringing their family craft to the States. Over the years, the brothers shaped the landscape of the string industry with their innovative designs. Every set is manufactured using a perfect combination of traditional methods and latest technologies to produce a superior string.

Placed these on my schecter studio 5 recently. They quickly became one of my favorite string setups. First of all, the sound is great. Also, they are easy on the fingers, bends and slides are easy with these strings. The fit was great! (Yes, I am a guitar player, presently playing bass out of necessity.) I will be purchasing these again...

This is my second time I bought these strings. Deep Talkin' bass strings. Obviously because I was very pleased with them. Absolutely perfection if you ask me. No more grinding your fingers on strings because these are flat wound strings. If you're a beginner and complain your fingers hurt it's because you don't have these! These strings are currently on both of my bases. A little expensive but worth every penny!

Unfortunately two of the strings had indentations and blemishes from grinding. One spot had a sharp edge from the grinder taking a bite out of the string (picture).I contacted Labella customer support for replacements.Labella customer support stated: «What you're seeing is normal and a result of our grinding process. Any replacement would be identical.»This was a disappointing first meeting with Labella. The quality control was poor. Non helping customer support results in no confidence with this brand

The only weird thing is that the narrow part of the low B string extends beyond the saddle of my Fender Jazz Bass. Didn't expect that. Pretty sure it's not supposed to. Sounds good. Plays well.

Incredible. Use on a fretless srf 705 with aguilar soap box Pickups. Such a full resonant tasty treat to play. They feel like they ring forever and the tension and response blows all other strings I've tried out of the water. Worth every penny!

Las he montado en un Musicman. Es increíble los bajos tan redondos que dan y compensa el "exceso" de ataque del bajo.Aunque sean flats las uso para tocar rock y la banda está encantada con el sonido. Yo con el tacto.

I put a set of La Bella 760fl strings on my 4 string bass and they are very good. Nice sound, nice tension and smooth feel.I though I'd try getting a 5 string set to try on my new Sire P5. The B string did not sound great. I have read that flats can be a problem for B strings on a fiver.Should have gone with Chromes. They are recommended by Ed Friedland (The Bass Whisperer) in a Guitar World article on 5 string flats.I hope I can use 4 of the 5 strings on another bass, but worry that since I made a witness point bend on these string at the bridge I may have weakened them.A costly learning experience for sure.Update: After put my orginal round wounds on the bass I realized miss the smoothness of flats and the squeeking of the rounds annoyed me. Also, the thoughts of spending another $100 + on strings wasn't appealing. And you know, the B is not so bad after all. I hear that flats settle down after a little while and some overtones on the B will subside. it could also be the my Fender Rumble with a 10" speaker finds the low B a real handful. When I stood beside the amp I could hear that low fundmental that we all love with flats. So I'll give it a bit of time.

Malísimas para el precio que tienen. Quizás para un fretless vayan bien, pero a mí no me gustaron nada y no me parecieron nada cómodas. Las puse y las quité en menos de una hora de uso
