Be ready for the day with the La Crosse Technology's Digital Atomic Clock with temperature. This timepiece comes with convenient features to provide information you need to know. The self-setting clock wirelessly gives you accurate time and date, so you’ll sure to be on time. It has a WWVB radio signal antenna for the time’s best accuracy and automatically resets for daylight savings' time. It also functions as an alarm clock and offers a crescendo alarm (gradually increasing) with an extra 10 minute snooze. The clock is battery operated, so it will keep the correct time after black outs or power surges. It will also indicate when it’s time to change its batteries (requires 2 AAA, sold separately.) This time-keeper gives you the ability to be prepared for almost anything. It offers seven different factory-set time zones (Atlantic to Hawaiian), so you need to do is select your time zone, place the clock facing the WWVB signal direction (NIST tower located in Fort Collins, CO USA) and time will automatically set your time and date, accurately. Monitors the indoor room temperature and can display in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. All you have to do is take a glance, and you will be set for the day.

This item is described as a wall clock, but it also has a nice stand which is important for me. It's large enough to be visible across the room and the display is well arranged. You can choose your time zone and use it as a 24-hour clock if you prefer. I found it a little frustrating in setting the time. The instructions could have been better, but once I pressed enough buttons and it made contact with a satellite, everything worked out, and I'm really pleased with it and highly recommend it.

I use this clock in my bathroom. There are several functions and the clock is a good size and easy to read.

Pros: looks nice, and works (plug in batteries and it automatically tries to set the time).Cons: controls are a bit awkward. You pretty much have to read the instructions to know how to make adjustments. And that shouldn't be necessary, if they just designed the controls better. If I were designing it I'd lay out the display differently. E.g. there's no need to display seconds, and especially not as the second largest thing on the screen. And there's no need to spell out the entire name of the day of the week. All of that wasted space then forces the date and temperature--information that truly is valuable and important--squeezed into a small corner. Too small, IMO. LaCrosse really needs to hire me to design their clocks, lol.A curious side-issue: it comes in a Mainstays box.All in all I'm happy with it.

Right out of the box - which, as another recent reviewer noted, is a Mainstays box, complete with "Distributed by Walmart" on the back!? - the clock was easy to set up. Just pop a couple AAA batteries in it, follow the directions on the back to manually set the day, date and time zone, and then the clock did the rest. It was set to the second and keeping accurate time within just a few minutes. The display size is perfect for my bathroom, and it is easily visible from every angle. It is smaller and lighter than my previous clock, but seems to be made very well.

I love all the info on it and it’s easy to read. However, I have another like it but this new one won’t save the right setting for the west coast zone. It keeps reverting to Central time. I followed the directions to a tee but it just won’t hold. Frustrating!

Does not keep good time. The clock loses 2-3 minutes over a 2 week period. The WWVB function does nothing. It blinks for a while (a few minutes) then goes away and the time NEVER updates. I’ve tried setting the clock on a south-facing window sill…no change. I’ve left the clock with the satellite icon blinking on my window sill over night and into the next day…no time update. My 1950’s vintage wind up wall clock keeps better time. The last atomic clock I had (it finally died) reached out to the WWVB and kept very good time. This one, not so much. VERY DISAPPOINTED. :-(

The clock is everything they say it is. It’s accurate and the thermometer works. It’s the same size and color as described. Had it for months and the battery life is great. It’s reliable and cray to set up, the atomic feature makes it superbly accurate. The display is easy to read. It feels fairly light, and could knock over easily, so keep it out of harm’s way.
