I would give this a five-star but that would have to be reserved with something that has a leur lock set-up. I have made it work for my setup and what I love about it is the customizable variations you can do if you have a little ingenuity. I like to put a PTFE mesh that is smaller than the o-ring as a way of collecting bigger particles and then I put a smaller micron membrane on the appropriate location and it really has increased the life of my filters and I'm getting a lot more out of my setup with less filter papers and more volume. Plus it's not as hard to push although I've got mine automated now so not really an issue anymore. Thank goodness lol

Might work okay for large pore-size filters, but I’m a geobiologist and using 0.2 micron filters in these caused them to pop open ripping the threads almost immediately upon starting the syringe.
