In spite of successfully completing the calibration procedure, the instrument never gave me a reading with various assorted samples including successive dilutions of the calibration solution provided with it, all with turbidities within the measuring range of the instrument. Additionally, the inside pin of the female AC adapter connector broke on the first plug insertion, rendering it useless. "Too good a price to be true for a relatively delicate and sensitive laboratory instrument" seems to be the case here. I must however add that the Chinsese maker has offered to replace the defective unit with another one. Hopefully this time it will perform! (Final comments pending)

This turbidity meter doesn’t work. Looks great but is unreliable. I returned it.
