The 15 pack of steno pads are a good value but not completely the quality of a some name brands. These were packaged well, preventing any damage. I appreicated the 5 vibrant colors to differentiate your pads. They are made using a nice, double spiral wire that won't snag clothing or come apart when the paper is torn off. These do not have perforated edges to tear the paper. The paper may not be as thick as some, but it is diffently not thin. It will suit my needs perfectly. The only negative issue is the back cardboard is not thick enough to support writing without a table. It can be done, but the tablet flexes more than I like. As long as the pad contains most of the pages it won't be too bad. For the price these are a good value to have on hand for all types of lists and notes for your home, school, or office.

Steno pads are some of the most useful notebooks around. Perfect for lists and meeting notes; easy to carry around; and plenty of pages in each notebook so they don't have to be replaced every other week. I got the set of 15 pads--it's a great price for 80 sheets. The only thing I'd change is make the backing cardboard a little thicker so it would hold up better for writing on the go.

10 pads, each with 80 sheets, both sides lined. I like that the covers are in multiple colors so I can easily identify my notepad at meetings and not pick up someone else's. No perforations on each sheet, so ripping a sheet out leaves me with the ugly, jagged edge. Sheet color is bright white and is rather thin. Writing with a standard pen and gel ink does not bleed through, but a Sharpie definitely bleeds through the page and onto the following sheet. The cardboard backing is a little bit flimsy. The cover is nice and not terribly flimsy. So far, it can standup to being carried around in a backpack with minimal wear and tear.

I use steno pads for making lists, because I usually do that sitting in a chair and not at a table. I like that steno pads are built to be used without support of a flat surface. I also like the standard steno pad line down the middle, which gives me two columns -- say, for a task and a deadline, or a task and who I'm doing it for, or a grocery list and what I plan to use it for. (I've always had a "why on earth did I buy this?" problem if I don't write it down.These pads work fine for lists, and the different colors will help me spot which one I want. The backing is a little more bendy than other pads I've used, but not enough to be a problem. The paper is standard notebook paper, so it would bleed through if you use juicy writing utensils; it's fine with my gel pen. The binding is standard metal spiral, sized correctly to flip pages easily and still hold things together neatly.I'm very happy with these pads for my uses.
