This fit as an exact replacement. Is very easy to change out.

Fit, worked. Actuates in and out anyway. My 4WD still doesn't work for some reason, but not because of this part. Getting the old one off was impossible. Drill through it, twist. Break the plastic, then dremel lightly to thin the plastic till you can pull pieces off the threads. Clean off threads, put anti-seize on these threads, cuz you'll end up taking it off again at some point. Can't say how well this will hold up, but it does what it's supposed to.

So far I like it ! It engages fast its a hole lot better than the thermal actuator that was factory for my 1993 chevy. I guess time will tell how long it lasts. It stays engaged even when you turn your vehicle off so when you get back in your vehicle to go somewhere it is engaged already at least intil you disengage the four wheel drive.

Bought to replace a leaking OEM actuator. Installed this one. Truck appears to shift correctly & engage 4wd, but the actuator never sends the signal back that's it's actually in 4wd, so the light blinks for several seconds and then shows "Service 4WD" on the dash. Put the leaky original one back in and it works fine. Returning.

I'm an ex-mechanic with ASP. This actuator works well so far, but it's only been less than a month. Very easy to install. Spend the extra money and replace water tight pigtail plug that should but doesn't come with it.
