My check engine light came on. It was code P0420 and P0171. Replaced the old swnsor and tubes with this, even though I'm not sure this was bad (the tubes going to this were worn in half). Problem solved without having to pay a mechanic. YouTube people! It saves so much money referring to instructions on how to replace things in your vehicle and home.

Junk. I bought two of these when I accidently busted the plastic car if the OEM one. First one I bought and drove maybe 50 miles before code came up as low dpfe flow. Since I had just replaced it, I didn't think it could possibly be the dpfe sensor, so I checked every orrifice in the throttle body, checked the egr valve, checked egr tubes. Finally decided it was a bad sensor. Thought surely is was just an off one and that it was cheap enough that quality control probably want that great, but if I bought another it would likely work fine. Wrong, the second I was watching closely and monitoring voltage output from the start. It ran at the wrong voltage. Maybe it's for a different make. Does not work on a Ford. I've got a 2004 Ford expedition with 5.4L Triton

The part and delivery were fine. Price was very good. Oreilys wanted $70.00 for the same item. Stupid me did not look at my sensor on my truck before I ordered it. Ford in their infinite wisdom must of put two different sensors on the 2002 f-150, 4.6 liter and the one I ordered was the incorrect part.

My corroded OEM aluminum DPFE sensor was getting flaky on my 1997 F-150 4.6L W series engine and I replaced it with this plastic bodied unit. The fit is perfect, the hose attachments are sized appropriately for the exhaust vent hoses, the housing won't corrode, and the electrical connection is snug and presumably good enough for engine compartment use. My P0401 error went away. Oh yeah, this cost about one-sixth (1/6th) of what my local parts dealer wanted. No brainer. If you need one, this one works.

This was purchased for a 1999 F150.The part arrived but not as pictured.The original part and the one in the picture both have an elongated hole on one side because the part installs onto a hook and is held by the hook and one screw.This one did not have the elongated hole and so cannot go on to the hook. It appears to work fine but I had to be creative.The price point was excellent.

My 2000 Ford Expedition had error P0401 and this fixed it for cheap. Install is very easy, it will take you 5 to 10 minutes and required a 10mm and 8mm socket. I am not sure about the durability, the factory part appeared to be substantially sturdier and lasted 20 years. Time will tell.
