Working well on my turbocharged 351W. The bull ring in the sock does limit what type of boots they will fit over so I extracted them.

Perfect, look new after 400 mile drive. I even spilled oil on one & was worried how that would go, they were fine, & cant see an oil stain or burn. I used needle nose pliers to open the rings a bit, slid the wires in, used the pliers to clamp the rings back closed (slight pressure) to hold them on the wires (boot) good. Was pretty easy, (20 minutes) and I have bigger wires than average. 2001 Silverado 2500HD 6.0L. (LQ4) With decent Duralast wires. (Larger wires than most). Tip: Be realaxed and comfortable, not irritated when installing, & it will go smooth.

Easy to install and look good when installed. I checked the plug wire boot temperatures and they are much cooler with the boots installed. Hopefully this will stop the plug wire boots hardening and cracking over time from the significant radiated heat from my SS headers.

Really good kinda on the cheap side of them but they look good ,kinda on the hard size to put on but that mean they won't come off lose too.

Here’s how I got these over the plug wire boot.Insert a pair of pliers on the threaded side. Open the pliers to spread the jaws of the pliers inside the insulator. Rotate 45° and do it again. Now insert the boot inside the insulator.I used a pair of needle nose pliers to push the rubber into the boot inside the insulator.I used dielectric grease to coat inside the rubber boot allowing the boot to slide over the plug. I coated the coil side plug as well. The wires snap on easily even with the insulator over the boot.I’m very happy with this product and I’m glad they will protect the expensive plug wires.

felt good. looked good. fit over granatelli wires and I did not snip the ring. Why? the ring is supposed to sit between the plug and the block (or close) so it never really moves. I put all of mine on without snipping that ring.2009 silverado LS 4.8 using E3 plugs and Granatelli wires.

As others have said, these are very difficult to fit over a 90° boost on an 8mm spark plug wire. The stitching on the other end unraveled in less than a year.

So... I have Jegs 8.0mm wires on my SBC. Due to the header design I have both straight and 90 degree plug wires. Installation was simple and I did not experience any of the issues other discussed. There was no need to remove the metal ring or undo stitching. Seems like it will do a fine job protecting my wires from melting on the header.
