It can be used as a single component or for interconnecting devices. When the glass rod is inserted or removed through the rubber filter adapter cone, the risk of damage to the glass rod is reduced.

The tapered collar design has obtained good experimental results in terms of sealing. Good tolerance to acids and bases.

Note: Keep these rubber filter cartridges away from hydrofluoric acid to avoid corrosion.

These do the trick, but barely. They are too angled. They do not fit with a uniform surface area. Not snug.

Well made, but these are massive. if you're looking for something useful in a small lab setting, you probably need something smaller.

These cones should be virtually inert to hydrocarbons and alcohol. They are not. I tried washing one of cones with dish soap and water, then ethanol, then lanolin hand cleaner and soapy water again. Nothing worked. I tried wiping off the goo with paper towels , but more and more green came off on to the towels. Don't buy them. Find them from another manufacturer with better quality controls in place.
