I like that this net has a frame made out of metal. The entire set up is very sturdy and heavy and does not get easily blown over if you leave it outside. We have used a few stakes only because our kids knocked into it a lot and it did kind of help keep it positioned better with some heavy duty yard stakes in each of the corners. We use this for lacrosse training but I could see how you could really use it for just about any sports ball throwing etc.The folding aspect to it is a must unless you plan on using it year-round. This net is quite large, so when we are done for the season, I like to fold it up and store it away.

Yes, I was thinking outside the box. I got this small portable frame. I got a different net, one golf balls can not go trough and now I use this as a golf practice portable net. I have a true gold net system but it not hard to put together but that portable Lacrosse Goal is so easy to move around backyard, front, garage. I have not used it For lacrosse but I think it would be awesome. Also from the frame and net from tipping each golf ball hit. I use two sandbags on each corner, easy. I would highly recommend to family and friends. 4 Stars

I got this lacrosse net to use for hockey training. It's the same width as the regulation net but it's 2 feet taller which adds extra protection when I'm practicing in my backyard. The frame is metal and feels solid but it's lightweight enough to move around easily. It took about an hour to assemble with no issues. One of my favorite things about this net is being able to fold it to store it when it's not in use. Nice quality metal frame net.

My kids don't play lacrosse, but we got this to put at the edge of the yard just for them to kick a ball into. They really like it. It's nice and big and allows for a large area of aim. It's pretty heavy duty, though we did stake it down to make sure the wind doesn't carry it off. It's decently heavy, but if the wind can carry a trampoline I figured this was fair game as well.

Our son picked up lacrosse recently so we ordered this for him to play and get some practice in while at home.This is a really great size and overall easy to assemble.
