I ordered this fish net for my husband and he loved it. It came within the date promised, and was packaged in a nice box. The shape of the net its-self is great for sweeping across the bottom of a fish pond. The telescoping handle was perfect, easily extending and easily shortening again, and was the length they said it was. Well made. A good value.

This is a great fish net for my small pond. Pimary use is to pick up fallen leaves and debris. Although the holes in the net are actually 1mm so dirt will fall through. The small size allows me to easily maneuver the net to avoid catching onto the lava rock planted in the middle of the pond. The plastic fishnet edge protector is nice to have. Not sure how long the net will last for me since I have lava rock to dodge, but others should expect long life. For the price and build quality, I recommend it for small ponds (less than 500 gallons).

I have a 3 foot deep by 4 foot diameter water sump catch basin that drains a field. I bought this net to skim off debris so the pump does not get plugged up. The net protector on the bottom is great. I think you could lift a lot of weight with the handle and frame before you could bend it. The net is well made and this is a quality product that will take some abuse. I am going to buy another one to keep the kids swimming pool clean. Worth the money.

Got this for my annual fall leaf cleanout, and it worked fine. Kept me off my hands and knees digging in the pond to get the leaves out.Pros:- Telecoping handle so it doesn't take up too much space- Soft exterior on net (not sharp metal or tough) so I'm not worried about puncturing my pond linerCons:- It does feel flimsy. I'm not sure how this will hold up to a couple years of use, or if I were picking up things heavier than a leaf.

Bought this net to catch emerald shiners off the pier for fishing. The net itself feels and looks great but to catch minnows with the pole fully extended, the plastic piece that screws on to the actual rod where it extends is very thin and cheap as i barely used it and just swiping at minnows has cracked the plastic piece. I already had to order a new net and i just received this one less than a week ago. Avoid this net if your looking to swipe minnows the pressure on the plastic joint is just too much for this net.

My 11 year old son loves this net! He takes it to the creek in the back of our backyard to see what he will find. He's caught bull frogs and tadpoles; rocks and leaves. I'm so glad he's able to make it longer and shorter. Helps to keep him dry versus stepping in the water to get something. He's had it since Christmas and so far it's been durable. It also is very easy to store. Takes up no room in the garage or a corner of a closet.

This is not what I expected. I have bought similar priced nets locally at Lowe's, and the handle was much thicker and sturdier. I needed this to scoop out my pond plants, which I have a lot of. I could tell immediately that I was going to have problems. As I started scooping them out, the handle was really straining under the weight of the water and plants. I tried holding the handle as close to the net as possible to relieve some of the strain, but my pond is fairly large, so that wasn't possible for a lot of it. Sure enough, around halfway through, the handle started to bend. I tried to bend it back into position, but that just caused it snap off, so I wasn't even able to complete the job. I wouldn't recommend this if you have to scoop out anything more than leaves.

Not much to say really - I needed a net, I got a net. Has a nice telescopic method of extending so you can use it close or far. Absolutely does the job spot on for me.

I use this net to clean up my pond of algae. Great for reaching far away algae and easily switches from the 3' to the 5' lengths.
