They are comfortable but had to buy thicker insoles because I do a lot of walking. Feet stay dry and warm while out on the wettest days. Definitely wish I had purchased sooner.

Heavy, stiff. It is like walking around with 5 gallon buckets on your feet. I installed some good insoles, and that helped give the shoe a little bit of feeling like a shoe should. They are waterproof, and with thick socks and some good insoles they will suffice mucking about in the garden or yard, but you do not want to walk very far away from home unless you have someone that can come and get you. Of course these are not touted as walking shoes, so that is why 4 stars. They are what they are.

Bought boots for my husband for xmas. He has worn for less than 60 days and the side of the boots cracked and split open 1.5"! Bought Lands End bc of their "high quality standards" - epic failure! Now these waterproof duck boots are no longer waterproof AT ALL which defeats the purpose of my purchase. We are retired, so these boots are gently used, more too keep warm in winter, they clearly did not meet their end of the bargain. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING LANDS END, OR BUYING FROM AMAZON SINCE YOU CAN'T WEAR THEM FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS. What a load of crap! DONE WITH AMAZON!! YOU BOTH GET NO STARS!!

All and all, they’re ok for $40. Just don’t go for the wide size unless you have cartoonishly gigantic cankles. I went with 13 wide and wish I just got a regular 13 now but these are basically just dog walker boots for the snow. It’s not bad enough that I was going to return them and wait all over again. The tops of the boots are also pretty uncomfortable able on the bottom of my shins too. I’m hoping they just need some time to break in for that to go away. They do feel pretty cheap, but they are pretty cheap, so I’m going to consider that a net neutral. Would you want these to go on a long hike, hunting trip, or long day of work? No. Absolutely not. Walking the dog, taking the trash out, and getting the mail in the snow? They’re solid.

Gift for an avid hiker in rainy or muddy weather. Keeps the feet dry and yet is comfortable and well made. Great value for the money!

The person for whom I bought these boots was elated! He walks two miles to work and back every day, and these boots are warm and waterproof. He has had no problems with them, and I bought him the longest size they make, 15, when he actually wears a size 16.

Der Schuh passt genau und sieht auch gut aus. Ich brauche ihn, um bei feuchtem Wetter mit dem Hund spazieren zu gehen und dabei keine nassen Füße zu bekommen. Möchte aber nicht mit Gummistiefeln laufen. Dafür ist dieser Schuh optimal geeignet, er ist eine gute Mischung aus einem normalen Stiefel und ein Gummistiefel und die Füße bleiben schön trocken. Ich würde den Schuh auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen.
