Use these to hold landscaping fabric around the perimeter of an above ground pool. Keeps the wind from blowing the fabric around. Easy to use. For particularly hard soil, I had to stand on a few to get them to go into the ground. They are deep enough that they do not protrude causing someone to trip. And they are easy enough to remove.

I use these in my garden to lay the weed control paper down to control weeds. They work great.

Held down weed cloth and cardboard and when I was done I used a screwdriver or needle nose pliers and pull them right back out
