This was great to have for after my csection. I was wearing an abdominal binder for a few weeks post op and this was much better than the dressing from the hospital. It protected the site and kept it clean and dry to facilitate healing. It’s waterproof & stays on 72 hrs at a time which meant less fussing on my dressing post shower. It’s thin enough on the edges to be comfortable but with a thick enough portion on the actual incision site to provide protection. If you like to wear jeans, this will be great. Removal was easy and painless, it doesn’t stick to hair so you don’t have to worry about accidentally waxing yourself especially in “sensitive areas“. I’m assuming this would also work for other surgical sites, as well. Not sure if it will minimize scarring as I’ve only used it for about a week so far. Wish there were more in the box.

These are an absolute must have. Great quality, comfortable, you can't even tell you have them on. Eases the dryness and pinching feeling and prevents irritation if your belly has an overhang.

This was great for the first few times wearing regular jeans. It kept it comfortable and I was so happy to ditch the maternity pants! I wasn't however impressed with removing the pad, the adhesive was good, it didn't move around on me or fall off. This made removal a delicate operation, along with the numbness around my incision site it was not pleasant but it wasn't painful either. I would use again to help keep me comfortable in recovery if I had an event I wanted to attend or travel but probably not just for every day around the house. It did make me confident that my clothing wasn't going to tug on the incision when out and about and that resolved alot of anxiety and gave me confidence.

I only used one. Not only was it horrible to take off, when I finally got the thing removed I had a giant area COVERED in millions of whitehead pimples. Absolutely terrifying sight to see on a C-section cut site. You do not need these. Once the bandage from the hospital is removed let it air out and do its thing. It will heal very well on its own without these extra patches. I know you’re scared, but it’s going to be okay I promise. Don’t let people influence you into buying things you don’t need because you don’t know what to expect. I’ll tell you what you do need, you need one of those reacher grabber tools so you don’t have to bend over or get up as much while you’re healing :) good luck and congrats!

Healing starts to get itchy and this helps with that a ton. Also protects your incision from clothes which helps prevent extra irritation.
