I bought this laptop desk well over a year ago and use it every day! It keeps my laptop stable and the padded underside is comfortable and soft on my lap. It has held up great and looks as new as the day I bought it!!!

This is exactly what I wanted! I am grateful for the width that fits in my smaller chair. The surface has no bar or pencil well, which means I can sketch or write with the paper at any angle. The surface has a very tiny grain (like super fine corduroy) which means you'd need something else under a single sheet of paper, or your art will pick up that textured look. The pad could be a bit thicker but overall it should be very handy when I don't want to sit at a table when drawing or writing. The handle is an excellent feature that makes it easy to keep the lap desk handy between my chair and a side table. I think I'm really going to enjoy having this added way to be creative and comfortable!

Its lightweight but sturdy. I use mine to write but also to read ... it holds a book nicely.

I used this all the time in grad school when I was writing or studying and needed a surface to use on my lap while sitting on my bed or couch. It made those long, late nights more bearable!

This otherwise very attractive and pleasantly light weight laptop desk has a problem, because the model with the rough finished faux bamboo surface may look nice, but it drives a hand-held Computer Mouse crazy by not allowing it to track as it should. If you only use a laptop with a built-in finger touch pad, you will love it. But there is little room on this very compact board for both a keyboard and a mouse pad especially a raised mouse pad to easily correct for this.

This was purchased as a gift. It was purchased for a petite senior adult. It was a perfect fit for her lap. It was both pretty and well made. Pleased with my purchase

I really like this for putting my lap top on my lap while I am typing. I find the lap top sitting on my lap gets very warm. This give space so the battery can cool. Would definatley recommend
