I needed something to put over my lap while I'm sitting in my recliner after a long day. These are perfect for your laptop. You have plenty of room to work. My only complaint is the tray is quite heavy. My friend has the same one and loves his. That is why I bought mine. I get up and down too often for one reason or another and it is cumbersome to keep taking the tray off my lap because of the weight. I will say, it is a very well made tray.

I looked for the perfect desk and I found it. I looked at a lot of them, bought two, sent the other one back. My neck was getting really sore from years of looking down at things on my lap: reading the Bible, books, journaling, etc. I sit cross legged on my sofa, so I needed something versatile and big, as at the moment I'm reading 2 translations at the same time.It's BIG. And it TILTS, which is awesome. I love the drawers AND slot at the top for pens (bc I'm usually holding multiple colors) AND the little slot at the bottom with the don't-slide piece (see pics) becuase you can move that where you need it to block whatever's on the desk when it's tilted, and take it out when it's not tilted.Much better than the lip / ledge option which would not only be in the way, but as a fixed aspect, would be awkward and painful to rest my arm on. I didn't realize this was a better design though ntil I'd had the desk! Also, it has 2 drawers, so now my pens aren't all over my coffee table.Legs don't lock. Occasionally I find this an issue. Usually I just straighten it. Maybe I have to pick a pen off the floor. In light of all its other attributes, the non-locking is a non-issue for me.LEGROOM: Yes!!! I can cross my legs. The desk is close to my body and my knees are on the other side. I try to always sit up straight, rather than do the couch-slouch, so this works very well for me.I raise it high and tilt it when I'm reading the two Bibles, that way my neck is less bent. If I'm writing or journaling, I lower it and flatten the desk so it's more comfortable to write. I'm reading a regular book or my kindle, I stand the book up on the desk and hold it. (Again, it's a neck thing!)It doesn't have a cup holder, which is fine because I'm always changing the level, the angle, or moving it to the side so I can stand up and get off the couch for something, etc - a cupholder would be wasted space for me and even if I used it, which I wouldn't, I'd always have to move my drink to avoid spilling.Besides, I have a table next to me anyway and put it there.LAPTOP: I work at home and my desktop is upstairs in my office. I have a latptop for downstairs use, but I don't use it all that often, so the smaller ones with the little fans in them didn't really suit my purposes. Also, they're SMALL. Like just a bit bigger than the laptop. I bought one of those at the same time I bought this, but sent the other one back.I wanted a second stopped and contacted the company; they responded immediately and generously. This laptop desk is spectacular!! It’s sturdy, it’s adjustable it holds everything I need to be able to comfortably work from home. The built in slots hold my monitor perfectly allowing me to have my laptop and a second screen. I can sit in my chair with it or put it in a table and use it as a standing desk. Excellent product.

This laptop desk is extremely well-made and very sturdy. At first, I thought it was a bit larger than I needed, but after using it a couple of times, I changed my mind. There is plenty of space for whatever you choose to do. I love the leather surface; it keeps items in place very well. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a laptop desk.

Perfect for a travel work station big enough to fit my laptop that’s 18in and my iPad and mouse. Love the adjustable feature on it and the built in drawers come in handy.

This isn't a small bed/homework desk. It has 2 little slide out drawers. It can be as high as you want it and the surface tilts to where you want it. My computer doesn't slide down, but pens and paper can be stopped with the little slide that can be put wherever you like. It's very heavy duty and I like the white/gray color. I would highly recommend this
