I like this better than other similar lights, because with the remote control, I can turn it on and off without having to bother with changing the color to what I want every time, because it stays as I previously set it. Other similar lights only have one button to control everything, so with those you have to press the button some number of times to turn them on and change them to the color/mode you want every time you want to turn them on, and when you use those stupid one-button controls, then you are forced to hold the button down some length of time to turn them off. With this unit's remote control, it even has separate On and Off buttons, as well as many color buttons, so only one quick press always gets you what you want instantly.Another reviewer complained about the remote interfering with a TV, but I have 4 different TVs and many other remote controlled electronics in the same room, and I have not experienced any other device responding to this unit's remote control, and not experienced this unit responding to any other remote control, so I guess that other reviewer must have been very unlucky having a TV with the same codes.I have been using it every day for about a week, with no problems. It's a little big for my purpose, so I have also ordered the same brand's slightly smaller 4-inch round version in order to try that for my situation, and it's so low priced, I don't mind trying another version, and I'll probably find another purpose for the extra colored light.The lighting looks great illuminating my glass-sculptured lamp, which looks phenomenally better lit from the bottom with colored light, in addition to being lit from the top, as the lamp normally is.

This replacement item works and changes colors perfectly. Very happy with this product. (The one I received previously looked the same but would not color change. I am very happy with this product AND the exchange customer service.

Great product just only one issue when you push the button on the base always goes back to default mode without a remote. This is worthless.

I used this light to illuminate a blown glass sculpture of a wave. I liked the fact that you could select the color to display and that you could dim and brighten the light. That lasted two weeks - now the dimmer buttons on the remote don't work. But, the worst thing is the batteries (3) lasted us about two nights. I would turn it on at dark and shut it off around 11PM. The next night I would turn it on and an hour later it is flashing a glaring red! The remote won't shut it off at this point and you have to use the button on the side of the light. Now my return window has closed so I guess it goes in the trash and the money I'll save on batteries will make up for not being able to get a refund from Amazon. Zero stars.

Ended up not being right for my intended purpose (decided I actually need backlighting instead). However, several things I just didn't like about it in general....Light doesn't use a normal charging cord, so you have to use the one provided, which is very annoying because it's quite short and white. [I need a black (or gray) one.] The product itself is cheap in both the way it feels and looks, making me doubt how long it might even last. Remote is okay but there's no way to get a "warm white" color option.Decided to return it.

Quand nous avons voulu l'allumer avec la manette rien ne se passe ca fonctionne avec le bouton qui le met en mode de flash qui est plus agressant que d'autres choses. Nous avons changer la batterie de la manette en pensant que ca pouvait être ca mais rien y fait...est ce le censor qui ne capte pas l'onde ou est ce la manette je ne sais pas mais très décu du produit
