There’s no padding in the area where your baby’s body would be. The padding would only be around your baby. I ordered this thinking it would be like a bed/lounger for the living room for playtime or supervised naps but unfortunately it doesn’t have the padding where my baby would actually lay so I will be returning.Update: I decided since I purchased this I would just go ahead and see how my baby likes it before returning and my baby just loves it he looks so comfy and is napping so peacefully with it just hugging his body. Updated from 2 stars to 4 stars.

My baby slept really good in this. Having a baby toss and turn all night, this really helped with keeping them in place. The band across the belly wasn't too tight and soothed my baby letting her sleep longer

The quality is not great, it’s super flat and thin. Not what I was hoping for. However I keep it in his bassinet for a bit of cushion and he seems to like it.

While looking for loungers I came across this one. I read the reviews but at the time there were only two and I agreed with the first one. I didn't expect for there to be No padding on the bottom. Like the other review I decided to keep it to just see how the baby liked it and now it's become her bed in her crib! It keeps her snug. It's made our of very breathable material and is so easy to wash. We use it everywhere. I lay it on top of our covers on our bed when I do laundry. We put it on our couch while we watch TV and it prevents her from rolling into the couch. I can place it on our floor (carpet) and play with my other toddler while knowing my baby is happy and snug.Like I said I didn't want to like it, but after awhile it grew on me.The only negative is the side zipper flaps that are designed to go across the baby to keep her from rolling. The zippers are cheapish so they don't thread together correctly so we've never used them yet.

Purchased the pale pink baby lounger and love it! Beautiful color and pattern. The fabric on both sides is very soft and seems durable. The padding all the way around creates good support. Last plus was the hidden zipper - opens and closes smoothly and will allow for easy cleaning!
