It's pretty sturdy material, possibly sturdy enough to stand up against our African Grey but, unfortunately, I was off with the measurements and it ended up being just a little too small to stretch around the cage—and the net has plenty of stretch.Shame it didn't work out but it was my own fault.Overall: This tough and stretchy mesh net is likely to be very helpful to those with messy birds, just be sure to double check your measurements!

This fits great around my 1.5 x 2 ft cage and comes up a little more than halfway. It doesn't cover the seed bowls at the top, so I did have to lower the seed bowl to the middle tier of cage so it can be covered well by the mesh. Once I did that, boy, I could put anything in that bowl--millet, berries, and all the bird spray would be contained by the mesh. They are very tiny holes so it does somewhat darken the cage and obscure the view of the birds, but only by a little bit. It's been a quick and easy solution to cutting down mess ejected from cage and I'll definitely keep it in my cage accessories arsenal.

I have two cages and order two Large. Non of them fit. The material is not flexible. I'm very disappointed 😞
