I have been using graphing paper for YEARS to help me plan room layouts when moving or redecorating. It has helped us to buy appropriately sized furniture and even helps us plan optimal room layout without having to rearrange furniture 20 times just to "try" it. This is the first big pad I have used, but it did make life so much easier to be able to look at the house as a whole and not just by room!
