I use these rivets to attach smaller sub components when restoring classic cars. He flange allows you to attach / hold a variety of parts such as starter relays, sheet metal cover etc. perfect option when you can’t have sheet metal screws r sharp sheet metal screw tip. Exposed.

I bought these for the occasional homeowner type repair of stuff like downspouts and such. The work well, don't jam in my rivet tool, and don't leave a sharp edge when the stem (or whatever its called) breaks off when setting the rivet.
