I was worried about purchasing this item because it had some bad reviews and I had previously ordered another brand of garlic keeper that was unsatisfactory. But it arrived in good time with no chips, cracks, or paint drips and looks great on my counter with other neutral-toned pottery. This is the size I wanted--not too big but holds a good supply for my needs. In picture it has three medium garlic bulbs and one medium shallot. The flat lid matches salt and pepper cellars from another maker and is easy to remove one-handed. The very slightly flared sides allow easy access. Holes in back provide ventilation.

This is a very straightforward design for a garlic-keeping vessel. It is clean looking and appears to be sturdy. The only negative is that there are very slight imperfections on the glazing. Note some other reviewers have had more obvious blemishes with the containers they received.

Remove large from title. It’s a little smaller than I expected but I love the idea of having a garlic holder. I was able to fit about 10 bulbs of garlic.

Went from one of those stupid little clay terracotta pots that held one garlic. This holds 4 way better nicer looking. Not sure yet if the garlic will last as long as this one is ceramic but it has lots of ventilation holes so we’ll see
