These reusable cotton bread bags are exactly what I was looking for! I love baking homemade sourdough, and these bags keep my loaves fresh much longer than regular plastic wrap or paper bags. ***************Updated again************The company reached out to make this right for me, which I do appreciate. I love this basket! I will continue to wish that I could buy the cloth pieces separately.This is a great concept.I loved this bread basket when I received it. It is really large, but that's better than being too small. I've used it twice and after the second wash (delicate cycle, cold water, hang to dry) it's started to come apart at the seems. You can likely see the stains from the olive oil I used on my focaccia bread- that just shows that I am not using harsh chemicals to clean it. :) I do love this concept and the basket itself is nice. It's too bad that the liner and cover are not made to withstand normal/gentle cleaning. When I contacted the store, they offered to give me a coupon to buy another set- but why would I do that just to get only two uses out of it? At this point it's better to just buy the basket and use a kitchen towel to cover your bread.I've updated my review because the company reached out to me to try to make this right. But then they just responded with "we rarely get complaints like that, however your opinion counts and we will raise your concern to our factory manager." There's no ability to even buy just the cloth pieces. I'd have to buy an entire set- but then what do I do with the extra basket. Why even bother to reach out if you aren't going to offer a solution?

It looks so much bigger in the picture, but it actually wasn’t that big and I was also kind of bummed that it took forever to get here but it’s actually an OK bread thing.

I was looking for a perfect bread basket for years - and it was worth the wait! The fabric “lid†or covering on top keeps the bread fresh but doesn’t allow moisture to accumulate. It’s easy to clean and you can also cut and serve bread on the table in it, then just cover to store. Much much easier (and prettier) than bulky bread storage spaces - we love it!
