update: Still a MAJOR hit weeks later. She does it as her calm time. It’s stays out on her table and she’s always gravitating to it and her writing is getting better.I was skeptical when I opened them because the font looked small, but my 3.75 year old is tracing and learning, AND LOVES IT! She likes to pretend she is working and thinks it is cool that the ink disappears after a bit. She is left handed and it works well for her. So far, she is only using the alphabet book.

These books are great, well made, sturdy pages, proper letter and number form, it has really helped my son who is left handed be ready for Kindergarten. The major down side is that thw ink is horrible, maybe it was just mine but the ink pen and the 4 refills are dried up, the pen lasted about a day before it dried up but I can't get the refills to even begin to write, they have white patches through it, I'm assuming dried ink or air bubbles preventing the ink to come down. We just used a regular pencil and solved the problem. I would buy these again because the books themselves are great!

Update:company reached out to me without me getting in touch with them! Great communication! Offering a full refund! Love the concept. If changes are made Will definitely try again just because of their customer service.hard to use for children. Not worth the money. I saw the calligraphy, which is the one I wanted and it was not in the package.

I was disappointed by the lack of indent for each letter. You can easily write over the letters without really feeling the bumps, which defeats the purpose of my child feeling where to start and stop when writing. I also wish the letters were bigger since he is younger. I don't feel that the letter size is developmentally appropriate for a kindergarten age kid. The ink pen works really well with disappearing quickly. Overall, the product is okay.

As excited as any new toy. She learned how to hold the pen in minutes. As a starter everything is difficult.

I bought as a learning gift for my Godchildren in the Philippines. Since then, they can't stop using it. The "assist" on the pen for finger placement was well received. The children are from 3 to 6 years old.
