This is perfect for the Travel Van. It is so-o much better than any type of folding step I've used to-date! The little kids jump all over it and I don't have to worry it's going to tip or break. Same for my elderly parents (or anybody else) getting in and out of the sliding door of the van when parked at camp. Easy to unfold or fold up flat. Last it has great traction whether I use the cover or not. The velcro on the cover is very strong, it's not going anywhere but not necessary unless you have a tiny pet in which case it's great. If you want a sturdy step that isn't too high, this is the ONLY one to get.

I recently purchased this folding step for my dog, who has short legs and is just ever so slightly pudgy. He needs help getting in and out of the back seat of my compact crossover SUV, and this step has been a game-changer especially for travel.The platform is large enough that he can maneuver and balance on it without hesitation, which was a significant concern for me. It's sturdy and solid. The anti-slip surface provides excellent traction, ensuring he feels secure and confident when using it. The cloth cover is a nice touch, making it comfortable for him to step on.This step replaced a bulky, fixed 2-step plastic stair that didn't fold up and literally took up half the length of the back seat to travel with. This one folds up easily and stores on the floor just behind the driver's seat. It doesn't take up any room, and now my dog has the entire back seat to rule over. Overall, this step has made our trips so much easier and more enjoyable. If you have a small or slightly pudgy dog who needs a bit of help with higher surfaces, I highly recommend this step.

This step is the larger of two sizes we found on line. It is very stable, strong and light weight and adjusts a couple of inches up and down. It includes a nice carpet that easily velcros on or off with traction bars on rungs too. It has wider rungs on step so our dogs toenails don't get stuck between them. Very nice finish on metal, clean and nice looking. Over all, one of the nicer RV steps we have found, lighter in weight, nice looking, adjustable, and very stable, with an excellent price/value.

Sturdy well built stepping stool. However, no cover was included. Returned. Without the cover, the velcro along edges is not comfortable to handle.

Perfect height for my dog to use as a stepping stool to get into my low sitting Sudan. Good traction for her feet. Easy and quick to open and close the legs. The legs do make an audible click noise once they are adjusted in either direction, so not the quietest thing; but not loid either. It's not heavy. Fits discreetly in the trunk. Side intuitively used it to get on in; whereas the dog ramps that i tried, she wasn't eager to use lol
