I have a hard time opening and closing this fan because the plastic material sticks to itself, so it doesn't slide open and closed easily. I have to manually fold the ridges back into place to get it back to fully folded, and it doesn't snap open with a flick.It is pretty, but more transparent than I thought. Its entirely clear plastic with glitter, not a more translucent opalescent like I expected based on the pictures. The pictures makes it look like a woven type of material with strands of glittery material woven into it, but that is not the case. I wish I had gotten the pure white clear, instead of regular white, because it seems like the difference is that it has clear boning as well. I think this would make all the difference in the aesthetic because that black boning is visible through the clear plastic and its just not very elegant. I think the colored versions might be better, or the one with clear boning, if you're looking for something less obtrusive, but otherwise it would be a pass for me if I had known all this.Quality and construction wise, it is pretty good, pretty standard and sturdy, especially for the lower price point that it is currently at ($8 instead of $18).I would only recommend this if this would match a very specific outfit. Otherwise, it is not a go to type of fan with every outfit and the lack of easy opening and closing really puts a damper on it.

Its pretty and bright and covered in sparkles, it is larger than expected, which is lovely. The only issue is its made of plastic, so sitting in the car for a day or two it got sticky and made it slightly hard to open. But once it cooled off, it worked fine.

This is a big fan! It's well made and sturdy. My son loves it. The only con is it doesn't fold up like it should because the plastic sticks to itself. Other then that; great buy!

The fan is well made and feels very sturdy. I was surprised how large it is and how well it cools you down. The webbing of the fan is made of vinyl (like a shower curtain) which is clear, but under sunlight, you can see the glitter.The photos make it appear as if the fan is translucent, but not transparent. Also the description says it is white, but it is in fact clear. I was hoping that this could double for some sun protection as a sunshade on a hot day, but since it is clear, it doesn't really do that. Overall, it is well built and sturdy and it feels like it would not break or get damaged by water. I would give it 5 stars but the description isn't really accurate and neither are the photos. Additionally, it does not close very well. The vinyl webbing is so thick it bunches up and is not easy to open/close like a most handheld fans. (You won't be clacking with this one). It does not come with a carrying case, but I guess that doesn't matter because the webbing is sticking out even after you close it, so it would be hard to squeeze it in a case.Overall, it is a nice looking fan and it blows a lot of air with very little effort and the build feels solid.
