Might be a little smaller than advertised if you want the net to go around the whole round. Working as it should. I didn’t fine tooth comb the whole net to inspect but seems to be made well.Happy I didn’t have to spend a ton to achieve this goal.

This might be the worst hay net I have ever used. At the very least they last me a season of wear and tear, and that’s out in the elements, if not longer. This was used under shelter and stayed dry yet it is falling apart after a handful of uses. My horses are not chewing through the net itself.. it’s been falling apart simply from the act of them pulling hay through it.Not only is it of poor quality, but it’s also ridiculously tangly and frustrating to ‘open’ and KEEP open as you pull it down over the bale. Hated the design of the closure and opening- the strands that the rope runs through have giant gaping holes no matter how tight you tighten it. Which is a hazard and defeats the purpose of the hay net, and is just all tangly and frustrating to use. It’s as if the design was taken off a smaller hanging net and just made larger. Those work fine for hanging hay nets but 100% not useful for on the ground, larger nets. The material of the rope is also ridiculously frustrating to use, it’s really tough which is good for the sake of durability but it’s also super stiff and doesn’t move through the net well. All in all, I have other hay nets I’ve purchased for the same price and they are a million times more effective than this one. It’s not a matter of it being a cheap option. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Seems as though the manufacturer skimped on quality of materials & product design.I’m returning it. I just wish I could get all the time I’ve wasted being frustrated with this hay net back.Update after writing this review: it is also unsafe to use while blanketing horses with the twist-together type chest clasps. In 24 hours I’ve had both of my horses get caught on the hay net, set back and effectively shred their blankets from the chest out. I’ve never had them get caught on anything else before like this. The other hay nets I’ve used haven’t been an issue. I’m pretty confident it’s the plastic stringy type material that is the problem. This is not the right material to use on hay nets that horses can get hung up on.

This product seemed like good quality, it is made of the same nylon type string/rope as my hay nets I have had for years. It fit my small round bale perfectly with room to spare so should fit a large round. Unfortunately the holes are smaller than my hanging hay nets and my gelding would not eat off of the bale so I couldn't use it. If your horses aren't picky like mine, this seems to be a good product - it just didn't work for us.

Worked good for a 4’x5’ bale. The only thing wrong with this net was the rope that you pull to tighten the net was too short to go around the entire bale. It took 2 people to put it on because of that. We untied the knot and one person held on to each end to make it long enough to go around the bale. Then tied it back after it was around the bail. This has cut down on waste and slowed down how fast they eat it.

Its very easy to use and put on however its not that great for sheep as we had issues with our sheep getting their heads stuck in the netting. It also stretched out quite a bit and now doesn't form to the round bale as nice. I wouldn't buy again for sheep

I've been using this net for about 3-4 weeks now. It fits my 5'x4' round bales well, but it does seem to fit square bales better as it has "corners" on the bottom. So it won't stretch very well to fit anything bigger. I don't use a hay ring, so when my crew gets to the end of the hay, they end up dragging it all over the pasture. It's been dragged, peed on, and generally just trampled. I have two Arabs and two minis and no one has gotten hooves stuck in the 2" holes. Even though they walk all over it. I was worried about the durability with the price being lower than high end brands that people recommend, but I'm really glad about this net! I've started using it for small square bales, and can fit 6 regular size square bales in it with room to squish other flakes down the sides to fill gaps. So it holds a lot. As long as the price stays reasonable, I'll be buying this one again when I need another!

Just went to use the net over a 5x4 round bale and it only fits around 3/4 of the bale. Thickness, durability and hole size are all as expected but very disappointed that it does not fit the bale it describes.

I've had this out for my horses for about 2 months now. No holes. Nothing ripped or broken. Super easy to put over the the bale all by myself. I will be getting another soon.

Consiglio questa rete per slowfeed, è ideale per evitare sprechi di fieno.

I just received the hay net and it fit easily over our 4.5 round bale. Lightweight compared to my other more expensive nets that get soaked through when wet and then are a nightmare to empty and remove from the paddock. The holes are not slow feeder ( my others are 1.25 and 1 inch ) however it will prevent waste . My only concern with this net is that where the rope to secure is attached the small holes become much bigger and this may be a problem with my small ponies and minis getting hoofs in. I put the closure part on top of the bale in the Paddock so it won't be an issue until they eat it the bale down. Because of the price I have ordered a second net . Time will tell how they hold up but even my 250$ nets get holes chewed in them so these nets are definitely good value.

Fab net. Covers a 4ft bale with ease. Instead of making up haynets every day for my horses, I put a whole bale in the shelter with the net on. As the bale reduces in size just use the very generous rope to thread through the net to pull the net tighter. I'll admit once the bale gets to the point you can pick it up and easily move, I put it in a sheep hay feeder for the alpacas to finish. But if only horses I'd put in a manger or smaller hay net.2nd bale in this net and no holes. Both horses are unshod. My friesian has no front teeth and then I have a old pony. So prob why no holes. It's a good quality net. But a aggressive eater will prob put holes in.Just brought another for my alpaca's, sheep hurdles will be put round the bottom of it as an alpaca leg could get caught up in it, but other than that, I suspect it will be just as good.
