To start, this cage is an awesome value. I looked over many, many different cages and styles. All the ones at the petstore and other local shops were ridiculously overpriced, pushing past 200$ for an inadequate, tiny cage. This cage is under 150$ and has 2 main levels, with four total levels to climb on. It comes with a large food dish, a small water bottle, a cute hammock, custom fleecies for each ladder and resting area, and everything needed to put the cage together.The only drawback is that the instructions are terrible. WHEN PUTTING THIS TOGETHER- Ignore the instructions about connecting 2 rods to put together the base. They don't exist. There is only smaller bars needed for the upper level of the cage. There is a grate with two thicker ends that goes in this area, instead.It took me about 2 hours to put this together, take it apart to change things, and finally get it all set up. Make sure to pay attention to the small details from the picture of the front of the pamphlet to save yourself some time.. such as where the "swivel" latch should be located, where the opening between the two levels should be located, etc.Other than the Ikea-esque instructions, I love this setup. It is sturdy, looks like it will be easy to clean, comes with accessories, and my ferret has a blast running up and down through her "house".

Bought for my daughter and her pet rats. Assembly took about 30 minutes, but was fairly straightforward and directions were fairly clear. Overall quality is good and seems to be a good value for the money.

fast shipping, great sturdy cage, my ferret loves it, my only complaint was the instructions was poorly labeled and difficult for the assembly, the water bottle that came with the cage didn't stay to well nothing that hard to fix thou, was a minor chip on one of the edges on the screw place but overall I'm extremely happy with cage

We adopted two free six month old rats recently. They came with a small cage (more like for a hamster) and some supplies. Our first priority was, of course, to upgrade their living situation and for that, we settled on this cage.Pros:- The size of the cage seems fine for two bonded rats- The large doors make it really easy to clean the cage and handle the animals- The materials seems sturdy and the bar sizing is appropriate- The layout and inner materials are quality (except for the water bottle, which leaks). We love the soft covers for all the ramps and platformsCons:- When we first opened the packaging, we were presented with a bunch of similar looking pieces and a single sheet of instructions - one side has pictures of the package contents with number labels for each, the other has general step by step procedures for assembly. This was very hard to follow, not only because we had to keep flipping the paper several times, but because the pieces weren't labeled and generally looked the same. Add to that the fact that the instructions were wrong, telling us we needed two pieces that we actually didn't, making it appear as if we couldn't complete the assembly. As you can see in the picture, we did eventually get it together with lots of trial and error (and one bolt hole not having a connector, but it still works). This company desperately needs a revamp on instructional design and quality control, especially considering the shipping cost.- The flooring is not great. Yeah, I know you can see it in the pictures, but it would just be nice if it wasn't te same as the side bars. We worried about our little guys hurting their feet, so we got some plastic-core boards from Michael's and cut them to fit, then added a kitten litter box for bedding. I've since added some barriers around the lower area to prevent spillage. Works great and only cost about $7- I initially started a return on this item when we thought we didn't have all the pieces, briefly chatting with customer support. They asked for pictures of all the pieces. When I told them I figured it out and suggested they update instructions, they didn't acknowledge that request and, again, told me to provide pictures or ignore the text if there's no further need for a return. Take that as you will, but I'm hoping we don't have to contact them again. They are all business and not very personable in the brief interaction I've experienced.Overall, we're satisfied with our purchase and, with a little work, feel like we're providing these guys with a nice home without breaking the bank. It's a good starter home, just know before you go in that YMMV.

First of all, the construction of this is terrible, sides are completely unsecure. The plastic layers are so small their pretty much useless. The seller stated to contact them if the return shipping exceeds $30 (WHICH IT DEFINITELY WILL) as if they intend to offer you a cheaper option to return. They couldn’t care less, their answer to any message you send seems as if you’re bothering them when you read their responses and some seem copy and paste. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AND SELLER! This is not Amazon, it’s a seller on Amazon. Not worth your hard earned money, you will lose it.
