Self-leveling Mode: when the pendulum is unlocked, the self-leveling mode is enabled. If the surface inclines over 4 degrees, it will keep flashing to remind you of the out-of-level condition.
Manual Mode: Slide the power switch to the locking position, press and hold the top button for 3 seconds, then you can place the laser tool at various angles to project non-level straight lines.

It’s a really handy tool. I deducted 1 point only because it is a pain to use without a stand or tripod. Stacking together whatever we could find to make it the right height but that’s a separate purchase. We hung 7 photos and lights and this tool did not disappoint. Once the green light quits wiggling to its auto leveling hence becoming still it worked magnificently. Beautifully hung pictures and light bars. Super happy and I would totally recommend but just buy the tripod to go with it to make your life easier:) I’m going to!

i wouldnt use this as a replacement for a nice bosch/dewalt/milwaukee etc. but for a fraction of the price it helped me line up anchors for a glass shower wall perfectly.

The dual angle laser levelling tool works great--the green light is strong and easy to see while the right angle positioning makes it simple to align whatever your are trying to hang. We used it to hang a large picture against a wall that had a corner that is not entirely straight, which made aligning the painting difficult by eye. With this tool, it is pretty simple, with a few caveats.First, you really do need a tripod for this. It is really difficult to hold the unit without moving it for any period of time. Second, the flashing mode that indicates you are off level made my wife queasy after a few seconds. Finally, the instructions are truly bare bones and do not do the tool justice; it requires you to figure quite a bit out via trial and error.Still, this is a valuable tool for your toolbox, and I recommend it.

It helped me a lot in installing wall molding. However, not sure if it was the device issue or I didn’t get how to use it properly. It wasn’t as accurate as anticipated.

Bisher haben wir Sachen immer angebracht, indem wir mit Wasserwaage und meist einem Bleistift gearbeitet haben.Das hinterlässt zum einen einen unschönen Strich, zum anderen ist es kompliziert, gerade, wenn man allein arbeitet. Im Nachhinein wünschte ich mir, ich hätte schon früher von Kreuzlinienlasern gewusst.Der Kreuzlinienlaser wird mit Box, einer multilingualen Anleitung und den benötigten Batterien geliefert.Das Gerät selbst ist kleiner als ich gedacht hatte. Die Verarbeitung ist sauber und robust.Der Laser lässt sich über den Knopf auf der Oberseite einschalten und ist sofort einsatzbereit. Man kann ihn mit einem Stativ nutzen aber auch in der Hand halten. Ist der Boden etwas schief, macht das gar nichts, denn der Laser nivelliert sich innerhalb von Sekunden selbst, so dass man gerade Striche an der Wand erhält.Sehr gut gefällt mir, dass ich die Intensität in verschiedenen Stufen einstellen kann. Das ist gerade bei hellem Licht und Sonne sehr nützlich.Ist man außerhalb des Waage-Bereichs, wird dies durch Blinken signalisiert.Verstaut wird der Kreuzlinienlaser in einer praktischen kleinen Aufbewahrungsbox. So kann auch im Werkzeugkasten nichts passieren.Im Nachhinein wünschte ich mir, ich hätte diesen kleinen Helfer schon viel früher gehabt. Vorbei sind die Zeiten, in denen man einen Punkt an der Wand hatte und dann mit Wasserwaage und Bleistift den nächsten Punkt oder sogar eine Linie anzeichnen musste. Mit dem kleinen Laser brauche ich nach dem ersten Punkt nur noch die gewünschte Länge abmessen und den nächsten Punkt setzen. Das ist einfacher und spart Zeit und Nerven. Für mich gehört dieser kleine Helfer ab jetzt immer in den Werkzeugkasten.

I use laser levels frequently and have a case in which I keep a couple along with mounting brackets and other accessories. Typically, I use the cased ones on jobs where I require a whole bunch of tools so one more case coming out of the van isnt really an inconvenience. For smaller quick jobs where I just need a quick reference line setting up (eg putting in a stair newell) I was looking for a smaller, less involved level - this one suits the bill absolutely perfectly.It comes in a semi rigid case which is small enough to chuck into my toolbag but still affords enough protection to the device. The level is simplicity itself - take it out of the case, sit it on a fairly level surface and turn it on, thats it. It casts horizontal and vertical lines simultaneously, they cannot be switched on or off which is really the only niggle I have with it but it is far from being a deal breaker. The intensity of the lines can be dimmed which is very convenient for avoiding being dazzled when working. The level has a socket for mounting it on a camera type tripod on the underside making it even more usable. An excellent little level at a reasonable price.

This device is easy to recommend if you’re in the market for a laser level.I’ve wanted a laser level for some time but could never justify the cost for something I’d only use infrequently. I’m very happy with this one. It’s bright, and very easy to use. The most difficult part of using it is getting it up to the right height.It has a standard ¼†threaded tripod mount and I was able to use it with an Amazon Basics camera tripod I had already. That tripod has a crank handle that lets me raise or lower the camera and it’s the perfect complement to this laser level.The laser assembly is self-levelling so even if you put it on a surface that isn’t perfectly level, it’ll shoot out a green laser line (V and H) that is.In my experience, the laser is visible in all different lighting conditions… including outside in the sun. There are four different brightness levels to choose from and as the title (and other reviewers) say, the brightest setting is BRIGHT!It comes with a nice protective carry case. It’s advisable to remove the batteries (2x AA, included) when not using the device for a while and I like that the case can also fit the batteries when they’re not in the device.

Innerhalb weniger Sekunden richtet sich der Laser selbstständig aus und projiziert präzise horizontale und vertikale Linien. Der manuelle Modus bietet zusätzliche Flexibilität für spezielle Anwendungen, bei denen andere Winkel benötigt werden.Die Handhabung des Geräts ist dank seines geringen Gewichts und der kompakten Größe sehr angenehm. Die mitgelieferte Tragetasche schützt den Laser unterwegs und macht ihn zum idealen Begleiter für verschiedene Einsatzorte.Ein besonderes Lob verdient die Helligkeit der Laserlinien. Sie sind auch bei Tageslicht gut sichtbar, was die Arbeit erheblich erleichtert.
