The beam is an ellipse, not a circle. Nowhere on this page does it say this. It only says "dot". A dot is round.The product came with a catalog of the laser products of this company. On that sheet, it specifies that this model has an elliptical spot. This is very important information. They sell other modules that do have circular spots. I would have just bought that one instead.

Well made and works 100% very happy with this.Make sure your laser uses the 10mm maser and not the 7mm version for this.
