I have bought cheap 7 to 4 pin trailer connectors before. I have also bought a quality 7 to 5 pin connector. This may be the best quality connector I have ever purchased. It comes with excellent packaging. (When something is carefully packaged, I believe the rest of the manufacturing process is also handled with care.) It feels solid, expensive, though it is reasonably priced. Even the way you hold it when plugging it in to the truck feels carefully thought through. I like the lifetime warranty. I also like the obvious sense that they are available to help. Several areas of the box and instructions offer support. I am very happy with this purchase. I’d recommend this product to anyone.

This is the best quality of trailer plug I’ve ever seen. Everyone who tows a trailer has had at least (1) bad experience with the quality of their trailer’s wiring. This one will last a long time being out in the weather.

Well put together but I would have returned it if I didn't immediately need it to travel. A little piece of tin foil in receptacle for left hand signal at car/ trailer end completed continuity. Ready for travel.

A lot of the time I (and I imagine many of you) wonder what the actual quality of the product I'm looking to buy actually is and I have to say, I was impressed by this Company's quality. The previous cord I purchased was from a name I recognized, but the quality was super subpar. It was returned, but this cord was installed and I'll look for this Company's product again in the future.

Using this to set up a flat tow vehicle to connect motor home electrics to vehicle. Well made connectors & I opened them up to check that connections were good which they were. The 6 pin plug locks into the socket to stop it being pulled out like the 7 pin plug does.
