the latch is excelent it took a little filling to enlarge the square hole the latch went through. It workes great I like the internal plate with holes that make it easy to lubricate the internal moving parts and enternal release handel. Great desine.

Fitting guide leaves much to be desired. I ended having to shim most of the backside to get the unit to even fit half way snug.

First of all there were no instructions in the box. Additionally, there were parts that did not have any use for this type of latch/lock. Once installed, the latching mechanism is too short to catch on the retaining bar to hold the door closed and locked. Will be returning to seller. One more thing, went to the Latchit website to look for installation instructions and their price is significantly less than Amazon.

I purchased this slam latch to install on my motorhome lower compartment door to replace a broken latch and to test as replacement for the others. I was very happy with the latch. It seems very sturdy, fit the opening very well, and was easy to install. I will need an additional 12 latches to replace all of mine and will purchase them as soon as I am able.

Bought this to replace the factory latch on a 2022 Jayco jPod in Australia. The install was very intuitive and simple although I did have to file back a part of the latch mechanism to fit in the factory cut hole in the door but it was a small effort and wasn't the fault of the product. Working perfectly so far

Exact fit, good quality and took me a whole two minutes to install. Quick delivery next day so it saved me going to the dealers and ordering one and waiting for it to come in Who knows when. looks slightly different from the original, but fits in perfectly ,definitely will buy again.

I like the metal part of it but the latch does not line up with my latch doors. The latch should be on the back cover.
