My wife is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Myofunctional Therapist. She uses latex tubing for her Myo patients to train them to chew correctly, thus this tubing will go in someone's mouth. That said, we ordered this latex tubing because the size was perfect and the price is amazing. Although the specified dimensions of this tubing were identical (9mm OD, 6mm ID, 3 Meter length) to a different batch we ordered prior, it somehow isn't as rigid or strong. Also, when you chew on it, there's a brief, unpleasant taste where the other batch had no taste at all. I know, most folks won't be chewing on this product, but there is some sort of mold release or some other residual material left on the product that could contaminate lab equipment. We will be washing this stuff thoroughly before giving it out to patients. Other than that, it functions well for what my wife needs and the price is great.

Good springy tubing. Arrived as described and pictured. Should work well making slingshots for the kids.
