The 28" tall drums are outfitted with natural rawhide heads; 9/32" diameter tuning lugs; heart side plates; rubber bottom rings and Black Powder-Coated hardware. This Vintage Sunburst set is available with 10” and 11” drums; and includes a height-adjustable double conga stand.

I got these congas after playing some wider ones in a store that were over 1,000 dollars before taxes.These are a bit thinner than those but I swear the tones are deep rich and awesome depending where you hit the heads of course.I played after oiling the heads with palm oil and rubbed it in really good. The next day I re-tuned them and wow! Amazing. These sound great for the price very nicely made. The wood is like maple it looks like and nice and thick too.They are heavy but I can barely lift onto stand because of back pain. But, I love jamming with tunes.The stand looked terrible in the pictures online, but its made extremely well too.All in all I'm stoked and love these congas and stand.I added in the padded gig bags too!Keep percussion alive!Have funPlay well

Always trust the leader! Very solid and tight, great souding set. I had to sell a more expensive set years ago because of lack of space. Glad I went with LP again. You will not get a better set for this price anywhere...

Amazon only sent me ONE drum. I then asked to have the second drum sent to me but they said that I would have to send back the ONE drum and order a replacement set. But Amazon said that they did not have a second set in stock. So I had to send back the ONE drum and got a refund. As for the drum itself, they're pretty nicely made. They're not the most resonant drums I've ever heard, but that's largely a matter of the drum head. If you replaced the heads with high quality heads the sound would improve, but so would the cost. At this price, these are very good drums. I would have kept them if amazon had sent me both drums.
