I have used the block several times in the past this has a great sound. Well worth the money, the discription was exactly what I was looking for and good quality too.

Though the photo shows two wood blocks and two strikers, and the description says "two woodblocks", you will only receive one. This kind of misrepresentation of products seems to becoming more common on Amazon these days. This is not sold by Amazon, but through them and they really need to have a more strict policy in regards to honestly portraying the details of a product. The product is just ok for a cheap, not very resonant wood block and is pretty expensive for just one.

Not much ring to this block...kind of a dead/muffledsound and not very clear. I would recommend spending more toget a nicer block. The sound difference is worth it!

Barely resonant at all and shrill in tone. Even discounted to £9, I'm still somewhat disappointed.
