I love this laundy topper. It allows for putting clean clothes on top to sort/fold and prevents socks from falling down down behind the washing machine and dryer and fills the gap between them as well. It stays in place with magnets. Easy to set up.

Not a fan of how light it is but it does the job.

Stop losing your laundry behind or beside your washer or dryer! Magnets hold it in place and it corrals your laundry!

This is the equivalent of one of those storage bins without being a bin it is made of that kind of material. I think this would work better if it was magnet. It would work for vastly more spaces and for me I had a wider space between my machines and there was nothing really to make these adhere to the machines. I could see the entire thing eventually falling behind the machines and this being a hassle. There is velcro holding these together but nothing holding it on the machine unless you put something on the flaps, but if you push this back to far on one machine and there is nothing holding the other side down than it's a wrap half of it might be behind the machine.

I don't think it will hold up very long. Falls off when my washer spins with a heavy blanket or towels :-(

I like this laundry guard over another one that I have that is hard plastic and has magnets screwed in the bottom that pop out b/c the screws are too shallow. This laundry guard has strips of magnets that are wrapped in fabric, so you don't have to worry about them scratching the top of your washer or dryer. One thing to be wary of... if you have the magnetic strips folded in, their grip is not super great. If you have the magnetic strips folded out, their grip is just fine. This laundry guard is geared more for a side-by-side washer and dryer, which I don't have, so shortening it so it just wraps around the top of my dryer, while functional, runs into an issue with the velcro. The side piece that I try to attach to the back piece both have the same side of velcro (velcro connectors have a stiffer bristlier side and a softer loopier side) so they don't stay together all that well (because they are assuming it will be used with side-by-side appliances). Some tape or a safety pin addresses that, but they should have thought of that out of the gate that maybe not everybody has side-by-side washers/dryers.It works well enough, but I wish the side piece and the back piece connected (and stayed connected) better.

I have a clothes dryer that sticks out quite a bit from the wall and I always worry that my clothes would fall back behind the dryer. I tried to search for a solution and found it in this laundry guard. It’s awesome!! There are magnets at the bottom that stay secured to the dryer and the guard’s walls are high enough to protect lots of folded clothes. It is actually long enough (comes in 2 pieces) to cover both the washer and dryer, with a gap cover you can use to cover the space between the w&d, but my washer it top-loading so I can only use it over my dryer. But that’s all I needed anyways and I couldn’t be happier with how well this works. I highly recommend it.
