This is a sturdy well-built, well-designed, file cabinet. It's worth the higher price. Compared to standard tinny file cabinets, it's heavy. I would not buy it to store old files in the attic but I like it a lot in my home office. Glad I bought it.

Got this to place under my standing desk, and it is very nice. has the option of stationary feet, or rollers. plenty of room for all kinds of office junk, and the lock is a nice feature too. very heavy and nicely made.

I've purchased 2 of these for my home office and these things are bullet proof. They roll fairly well, but we don't have much need to move them. The drawers operate smoothly and feel very sturdy/solid. They have a safety feature that prevents you from opening more than 1 drawer at a time. This is to prevent tipping. I find this annoying, but not a deal breaker. The drawers are nice and deep. I actually use it for storing tools and items in the office. The wife uses hers for papers.This matches my uplift standing desk very well. The uplift unit actually looks identical to this one. Rebrand perhaps?I like the cushion on top. It is magnetic, so can easily be removed. Depending on how you use your cabinet, the cushion can also protect the top from scratches.Wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these if I needed it. My only complaint was when I had to carry this beast upstairs into the office. Like the title said, its built like a tank.

I did a lot of digging looking for a quality small lockable filing cabinet, After reading a ton of reviews on Amazon as well as major office retailers I decided to go with this. What a great unit for the money. Sturdy, modern looking, and functional. Good bang for the buck. You might find a different one for 50 bucks less but it's most likely going to be tin garbage.

Item was packed well and arrived without any damage. I'm surprised at how sturdy it is and feel comfortable sitting on it (probably not recommended for anyone 200lbs or more). Nice unit, nice features and will have this for many years. Thank you!PS. It's a perfect fit for my Uplift desk (have to adjust min height slightly if seat is mounted).

I purchased this for my small business office and love it. It’s solid. The seat looks comfortable as an extra office needed in the moment. The drawers work smooth and I needed the filing space for some folders that we have to keep locked up. Overall, it went great delivery was smooth ahead of schedule. Overall, I gave it five stars because it works!

these are excellent file cabinet. i like the magnet cushion to put my feet on there when i am watching tv. my three year old like to climb on it to sit there while i work. it came with a small tray which is decent. the locking wheels are nice but you can still roll/move it around when locked on my hard surface. the portable folding keys is a nice spare you can put on your key ring.the only thing i don't like which might be standard for file cabinets is that i can't open other drawers unless i close the other one.overall, i like my file cabinet and the price was decent. i would buy another matching one if i have room in my office.
