This 30W bulb is better than the 25W for my lava lamp. The 25W took forever to warm up and the wax never really did it's thing. I switched to this 30W and my lamp works much better and warms up faster.

These S11 25 watt bulbs are a perfect fit for my new-found thrifted lava lamp! And I'm feelin' especially GROOOVY thanks to the great deal I got on this 6-pack! For that price, I can keep it on 24/7 cuz it's just MESMERIZING. Everyone LOVES it!

Your lava lamp and the room temperature need to be perfectly balanced for the lamp to work well. My 25 W lava lamp wasn't doing much at winter temperature of my house. I bought a pack of these at 30 W and it ran a little too hot (all the blobs hung-out at the top). On the lava lamp subreddit, I learned that you should install a bulb that is 5 W above the one your lamp shipped with and add a plug-in dimmer switch. This way you can get the lava motion perfect every time. Expensive lava lamps usually have a built-in dimmer for this purpose. These bulbs are also excellent. They heat-up faster than the one that came with my lamp. Absolutely no-regrets about this purchase!

Bought these to replace the little lightbulb that came with the lava lamp (it had immediately broken). These are more sturdy than the one that had been included and seem to have a long life.

was nervous cuz some of the reviews showed some broken and badly packaged, took the risk anyways cuz she cheap and they slayed!!
