With this adhesive strip kit your life of replacing the computer much easier and funnier. Each LCD adhesive strip kit contains 6 pieces of screen stickers and a set of replacement tool providing convenient use feeling for you.
Step1
Use the tool to remove your monitor.
Step 2
Clean the original adhesive strip.
Step 3
Install the strip on the place where it meant to be. For example 03 & 05: on the left and right of the display, 01 & 02: above the display, 04L & 04R: below the display.
Step4
Please slowly peel off the film on the back of adhesive strips.
Step 5
Test your computer to check whether it runs well before sealing.
Step 6
Finally remove the fixing tape.

You can get this or 2mm doble tape and do your own strips risking to get dust inside your imac if you don't want to mess up just get this 2 sets of strips

The Guenmso LCD Adhesive Strip Kit (2 Sets), with Replacement Tools and 2 Opening Wheel Tools is a great kit. I have exchanged several standard hard disks with larger capacity SSD drives in 27†iMac’s. The tools often become worn or damaged when you remove the LCD. This kit supplies a full set of tools for removing one LCD panel. The adhesives are excellent but I usually tape the LCD panel to the iMac case and leave it for several weeks before taking the tape off. If you need to remove and replace the LCD panel on your iMac then I recommend this kit. If it your first time it can offer a sense of security knowing you have a back up of all the tools and adhesive strips when reassembling the screen to the computer.

I cleaned off the old tape I got from OWC that worked. Installed this tape the correct way. Put the 27" screen back in and 5 days later the screen fell out on my desk and cracked the glass. IT DID NOT HOLD! Do not buy.

This kit is almost everything you need. You can do the work without suction cups to guide the glass, but it's more challenging -- in my case, I ended up with the glass about 0.5 mm off to one side. Too small to notice when you look at it from a distance, but you can catch the edge if you your hand along the glass.2-pack is great because you have a spare adhesive if you make any mistake during the first attempt. Since it was my first time making this repair attempt, I did manage to get the adhesive on somewhat incorrectly and almost needed the second set right away. For the extra dollar or two to get this 2-pack versus others' 1-pack, it's worth it.
